Wind Tunnel Testing

Wind tunnel testing took place at the San Diego Low Speed Wind Tunnel. All tests were performed at wind speeds of 25 mph.

 Tests were conducted under two separate protocols


Protocol A consisted of equipment only testing.

Protocol B consisted of equipment and rider testing. 

 

Each protocol considered multiple setup configurations. These configurations included:

  1. bicycle bare frame.
  2. bicycle with standard round water bottle mounted on frame and with handlebar aero bottle.
  3. bicycle with Speedfil Hydration System mounted on frame.
